FEES PER PARTICIPANT
THE FEES HERE ARE IN UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD) - THERE ARE NO FURTHER CHARGES/FEES.A FLAT $150.00USD per week plus the Basic fees in the table. Your meals, airport pick-up, accommodation, utilities bills, orientation, travel and medical insurance including others are covered with this fee. Details of what is included in the fees and what is not included are listed after the fees table.
Policy update 2012:
- Complete full registration at least six months before your arrival date: Save 100% on the basic fees (you only pay for the number of weeks you wish to stay, no Basic fee will apply to you)*
- Complete full registration at least one year before your arrival date: Save 100% on the basic fees (you only pay for the number of weeks you wish to stay, no Basic fee will apply to you)* PLUS an absolutely FREE fully packaged safari trip on a weekend during your time in Africa.

| The total amount of fees payable is the Basic + Weekly-Total. Weekly-Total is the number of weeks you are staying multiplied by the weekly fee of $150.00 per week. The weekly fee is flat for all countries and project choices. | |||||
If your application is successful, to complete registration, you are required to make a deposit within 10 days of offer of placement. It expresses your willingness for the project and assures us to spend resources on arrangements for you. Payment of the fees should be complete 12 weeks before your arrival date. If your arrival date is less than 12 weeks, your acceptance email shall provide appropriate information. Payments are done online with a debit or credit card and via paypal. If you require other source for payment, let the projects office know about it in your application and they shall work with the finance office to see how you can volunteer with Elghana if your application succeeds. Your payments are refundable under our agreement terms which is sent to you if your application is successful, before you register or make any commitment.
